MAXELL LIFETIME WARRANTY

Maxell Canada warrants each of its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship, during its normal, useful life, if properly maintained. If any product proves to be defective in either material or workmanship, upon reasonable confirmation by Maxell of its defective condition, Maxell shall replace the product, if returned with proof of purchase to Maxell Canada 50 Locke St., Unit # 2, Concord, ON Canada, L4K 5R4 or to any authorized Maxell dealer. This Warranty applies only to its end user, is intended to ensure product protection and is intended to validate that it has been purchased through Maxell approved distribution channels.  This Warranty does not apply to normal wear from ordinary use, refurbishing, failure of the product resulting from accident, abnormal use, misuse, abuse, neglect or mishandling, improperly adjusted or maintained drives, incorrect environments or failure to follow any instructions provided by Maxell. NEITHER MAXELL NOR ITS DEALER MAKES ANY OTHER WARRANTY REGARDING THIS PRODUCT, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.  IF THIS PRODUCT FAILS TO CONFORM TO THE FOREGOING WARRANTY, THE REMEDY SHALL BE AS SET FORTH HEREIN, FURTHERMORE NEITHER MAXELL NOR ITS DEALER WILL HAVE ANY MONETARY LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR ANY DAMAGE OR EXPENSE (WHETHER GENERAL, SPECIAL, DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL) INCURRED IN CONNECTION WITH THIS PRODUCT, EVEN THOUGH CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE OR OTHER FAULT. Some states or provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion may not apply to you.  This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state and province to province. This warranty is not valid outside the U.S.A. and Canada.
