Lifetime Warranty

Are you aware that all of our products are covered by a limited lifetime warranty?

Maxell Canada warrants it's products to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product. If any defect in materials or workmanship appears during the life of the product, Maxell’s sole liability shall be to repair or replace the product at Maxell’s sole option. This warranty does not apply to normal wear or failure of the product resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, improper drive adjustment or maintenance, or failure to follow storage or any other instructions provided by Maxell. 

Any defective product should be returned (together with proof of purchase) to:

Maxell will replace any product which proves to be defective in material or workmanship for the life of the product.

Accessories Lifetime Warranty
Mid-Range Tape Lifetime Warranty

All products are covered by the full Lifetime Warranty except:

Accessory Cleaners - 90 days from date of purchase
Professional Video Products - 90 days from date of purchase
Camcorder Batteries - 5 years from date of purchase
Rechargeable batteries - 1 year from date of purchase


UNLESS OTHERWISE PROVIDED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MAXELL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, WHETHER DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL OR OTHERWISE (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS OR LOST DATA) RELATING IN ANY MANNER TO ANY USE, INABILITY TO USE OR OTHER MATTER PERTAINING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY TO THIS PRODUCT. 

This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights which may vary from province to province.
